B2B marketing for service firms: inbound and outbound, joined up.

For businesses that sell to other businesses, where buyers rarely search for a supplier, sales cycles are long and a handful of referrers bring in most of the work. We go out to the companies that fit, and make sure your website and search are ready when they look you up.

DC Digital is a B2B marketing agency for UK service firms that want more new business than referrals can supply. We combine SendIQ, our outbound service, with SEO, Google Ads, LinkedIn and Meta ads and B2B websites, so the companies we approach find something convincing when they check you out. Monthly services start from £500 a month plus VAT.

The problems we fix

“Three or four referrers bring in nearly all our work.”

What we do

Build a second, steady source of new conversations by approaching companies that fit, directly.

What changes

Growth that doesn’t depend on the same few people remembering you.

“Our buyers don’t search for us. They ask around.”

What we do

Go to them: identify the organisations and the decision-makers, and approach them with a reason to talk.

What changes

You’re in the conversation before the shortlist is drawn up.

“Our website doesn’t explain what we do to a specifier.”

What we do

Rebuild the site around the buyer’s questions: what you do, for whom, how it works and what it costs.

What changes

Buyers who look you up understand the offer in a minute, not a meeting.

What we do for B2B firms

Finding customers

SendIQ outbound

We identify the companies that fit, find the decision-makers in each and approach them with researched, personalised messages.

Attracting customers

SEO for B2B

Being found for the specific, lower-volume searches B2B buyers make when they do search, and answering their questions properly when they arrive.

Google Ads

Search ads for the moments when a buyer is actively looking, judged on cost per genuine enquiry rather than clicks.

LinkedIn and Meta ads

LinkedIn ads to reach people by job title, industry and company size; Facebook and Instagram where the audience suits them.

Converting customers

B2B websites

Websites that explain a complex offer to a specifier or buyer, with proof near every call to action and tracking that shows where enquiries came from.

For MG Group, we separated direct customers, specifiers, influencers and referral partners, and set the criteria for finding companies in each group.

Challenge

A business working across gates, barriers and architectural metalwork that needed its website and brand to show the breadth and quality of the work, and a clearer way to reach larger commercial customers.

What we did

Planned the site around what customers search for, wrote it, built it on WordPress, refined the MG Group brand and set out which companies could buy or specify the work.

Result

mrgates.co.uk launched in September 2026, and the business has a working view of who to approach next.

Inbound and outbound: how they work together for a B2B firm

Inbound marketing (search, content, ads and your website) catches the buyers who are already looking. Outbound goes to the ones who aren’t looking yet. For many B2B firms, that second group is the bigger one: companies that should be buying from you but haven’t started a search, or wouldn’t find you if they did.

The two work better together. Outreach makes people look you up, so your website and search results need to be ready for them. A credible website and a visible presence make the outreach more convincing. And tracking both in one place shows which route each new client actually came from.

That’s why SendIQ sits inside DC Digital rather than being a separate supplier: one plan, one set of numbers and one person answerable for both. See how SendIQ works.

Questions about B2B marketing

All FAQs →

A B2B marketing agency helps businesses that sell to other businesses win new clients. That usually means a website that explains a complex offer, search and LinkedIn visibility for buyers who are researching, and content that builds trust over a long sales cycle. Some, like us, also run outbound: approaching the companies that fit directly, rather than waiting for them to search.

Usually both, in a sensible order. If buyers search for what you sell, start with inbound, because the demand already exists. If they rarely search, or you need new clients faster than search can deliver, start with outbound. Either way the website has to be ready first, because outreach sends people to look you up.

Yes. LinkedIn ads let you reach people by job title, industry and company size, which suits B2B well, though clicks cost more than on Facebook or Instagram. We run them as part of our paid social service, from £500 a month plus VAT, with ad spend paid to LinkedIn.
